Awesome combination of amateur armwrestling with the professionalism of professional armwrestling!

The very first IFA world armwrestling championship defies all odds by lifting the benchmark of amateur arm wrestling to the highest professional standards. So here’s what really set this championship apart from others we have seen so far:
- Refereeing –

Veteran referees and highly qualified new generation referees who gave the athletes complete confidence and clarity with regards to rules and decisions.
- Professional execution –
Clockwork running of the event in just 2 days! Precise planning and use of technology for smooth management of the event from Day 1, right until the end of the event. - Location –

Awesome arena! Perfect for the rockstar athletes who represented their countries! From the lighting, stage and acoustic, the arena had the highest professional standard in the world!
- Spirit of camaraderie and hope –
Unlike the previous world championships, the first IFA world championship stood apart because of the reason for its existence. Without exception, every athlete and official here wants a better future for arm wrestling. These were the individuals who took the risk of being banned, of being sidelined, but stood up for what they believed in. This brought a sense of belonging and solidarity during the entire event, something never seen before, except a few decades ago (according to the senior members).

We look forward to more IFA world championships and we hope the spirit stays the same, as when it was founded!

30 countries at the championship, all put together in just 5 months, shows the energy and demand for arm wrestling at a truly global level. Mazurenko Promotions and their super efficient team struck a chord will every one of the 500+ pullers!

The 1st IFA congress was a huge success with representatives from all member nations democratically arriving at important decisions. The United States Armwrestling Association (USAA) has been awarded the opportunity to host the 2nd IFA World Armwrestling Championship in Orlando, Florida, USA. USAA is spearheaded by arm wrestling stalwarts Denise Wattles and Leonard Harkless.
